OCIL maintains the following attendance policy for clients who receive ongoing services:
FOR ALL CLIENTS
Please give us at least a 24 hour notice if an appointment needs to be cancelled.
We will get in touch with you to reschedule.
We may also contact a family member or other contact person, when appropriate.
If unplanned absences become frequent, then OCIL may discontinue services.
Absences where efforts to contact you fail may be treated as an emergency.
Absences due to health & safety issues or anything within reason won’t jeopardize enrollment.
FOR CLIENTS WHO RECEIVE SERVICES FUNDED BY A SOCIAL SERVICE AGENCY
Please refer to the Client Handbook ‘Attendance Policy’ section:
OCIL may be required to notify your funding agency after a specific number of unplanned absences.
Chronic attendance issues may result in planned termination coordinated with the funding agency.
